On July 21, 2022, the Gigabit Summit 2022<\/a> took place in Wiesbaden – and COCUS was there again for the second year in a row! The annual event is all about the expansion and further development of digital infrastructures. We are happy to have been part of an exciting panel discussion as an invited speaker.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Every year at the Gigabit Summit Hessen, the topic of digitization and broadband expansion is driven forward in panel discussions, keynotes and keynote speeches. In addition to the informative presentations by the invited speakers, the audience will have the opportunity to learn about innovation and future opportunities at the exhibitors’ booths. Already last year, with our booth and presentation “Shaping the 5G campus network success story<\/a> with COCUS”, we introduced the benefits of 5G campus networks and Open-RAN technology to the participants of the event.<\/p>\n

In this year’s Mobile Communications workshop segment, COCUS was invited together with the Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport and Deutsche Telekom AG to talk about the state of 5G technology – with a particular focus on private 5G campus networks in industry. With the discussion title “Yesterday was tomorrow today – what 5G can already do in concrete terms”, the 5G experts addressed the status quo, the future of 5G and technology trends.<\/p>\n
