While they are behind expectations, with two license applications per week, they have nevertheless created an important set of tools for many companies to build their own networks. After all, with their own 5G license, companies can achieve independence from mobile providers in the required use cases.  <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c87d381 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c87d381\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Vodafone explained to visitors their good public mobile network rollout and support for their customers&#8217; 5G use cases for private campus networks, including their current project in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vodafone.de\/featured\/inside-vodafone\/freie-fahrt-fuer-den-5g-zug-vodafone-ebnet-den-weg-fuer-die-autonome-bahn-der-zukunft\/#\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">autonomous train services.<\/a><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-625da23 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"625da23\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In practice, it is clear that enterprise use cases are the drivers of digitization and the use of 5G campus networks. Accordingly, we went into more detail about the enterprise perspective in the panel discussion. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-172e303 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"172e303\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Commercial 5G use cases from a business perspective<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9ec57db elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9ec57db\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>With a view to the topic of monetization and capitalization, the key cases for us are those in which 5G is a key driver for research and development or can also be applied to reduce operational costs. 5G offers a major advantage over WLAN when it comes to a large volume of data transfer and traffic, real-time communication between devices or intelligent, autonomous real-time decision-making. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2f3e49b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2f3e49b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This is also reflected in our current 5G projects. COCUS is equipping the seaport of Wismar with a standalone 5G campus network to automate processes and optimize process control. The &#8220;PORTABLE 5.0&#8221; project is being funded with 4.1 million euros by the German Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport. Other German ports should be able to benefit from the solution in the future. Automotive supplier ZF is also benefiting in the field of autonomous driving with its own 5G Campus network from real-time data transmission to optimize processes. With the recently expanded Erich-Reinecke test site for commercial vehicles in Jeversen, ZF is contributing to the testing and development of new mobility solutions and technologies.      <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cocus.com\/en\/cocus-airspan-digitalization-autonomous-driving\/\">Read more<\/a><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-78596f3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"78596f3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Outlook for the development of commercial 5G use cases<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6aa7302 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6aa7302\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>3GPP, the 3rd Generation Partnership Project, is a worldwide cooperation of bodies for standardization in mobile communications. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3gpp.org\/specifications-technologies\/releases\/release-16\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Release 16<\/a> currently prescribes the key improvement areas of and with 5G for the future.
