Remote maintenance using augmented reality (AR) applications and the planned use of drone technology to measure bulk goods across the entire site are to be implemented first in order to optimize existing processes and workflows. <\/em><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ea3158d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ea3158d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Solingen knows how valuable digitization is. With a forward-looking and sustainable digitization strategy, it has been one of 13 nationally funded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-city-dialog.de\/modellprojekte\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Smart City Model Cities&#8221;<\/a> since 2020 and is creating the infrastructure for innovation with the targeted expansion of the 5G network by 2025. As the largest infrastructure service provider in the city of Solingen, Technische Betriebe Solingen in particular is driving this expansion of the digital, data and service infrastructure. This is because a campus network is an exclusive mobile network for a defined area, which provides a highly flexible, secure and powerful network infrastructure as the basis for wireless and area-wide networking. 5G technology offers many of the necessary features for this, such as extremely high bandwidth, short latencies and improved availability.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2d3fca4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2d3fca4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This is particularly interesting for the nature of the 50,000m\u00b2 factory site, as the heterogeneity of open spaces and old and new factory buildings makes it a particularly exciting case for the operation of networks.
