5G campus network as a basis for application-oriented research for industrial applications
The 5G infrastructure built by COCUS will be used in collaboration with Fraunhofer IIS to research mobile collaboration support in industrial environments. The research focus is on innovative mixed reality applications, remote solutions for maintenance and plant commissioning. The goal is to enable SMEs and other interested parties to develop innovative and practical services and to test 5G functions. In addition, special attention is paid to the development of precise location methods with the highest reliability.
