Volleyball at BVV again: Inscribe as a digital list of participants

In order for the volleyball to fly again despite Corona, every club needs an individual hygiene concept. The Bavarian Volleyball Association now introduces Inscribe to its member clubs as a digital list of participants. This will enable the volleyball players from Bavaria to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and finally return to their beloved sport.

BVV focuses on sustainable and safe ways to make the volleyball season a full success, despite documentation requirements. Because the contactless and paperless web app Inscribe does without pen & paper and thus not only protects trees, but also the data of those present. This means that the whistle can be blown directly in the halls again, and the effort for documentation, administration and data protection is eliminated.

The volleyball players and volleyball enthusiasts in Bavaria are SMART. Because they come to tournament days with smartphone, mask, distance and consideration. All of these are components for meeting the state’s requirements for resumption of play. In future, visitors, coaches and participants will be able to use their smartphones to register on the clubs’ digital list of participants on match days by means of posted QR codes. People from the same household can also register together by easily adding more people at check-in. Due to the digitally generated time stamp, potential chains of infection can be traced more precisely and quickly.

What convinced us about Inscribe was above all the ease of use, savings in administrative effort and the secure storage of personal data. This is because the data collected from those present is stored in encrypted form in accordance with the DSGVO (Basic Data Protection Regulation). No outsiders, not even COCUS AG as the operator of Inscribe, have access to the encrypted personal data. Only with the help of the access key, which is assigned to the data protection officer during the registration process, can the data be decrypted and forwarded to the health department if necessary. After a period of four weeks, the stored data will be automatically deleted in accordance with the DSGVO. This digital solution minimises the administrative burden of collecting and deleting personal data for those responsible to just a few clicks, and the provision of data is also quick and secure.
