Inscribe as a list of participants for the season opener at the Sportbund The members of the Sportbund Rheinhessen, just like many other sports enthusiasts, have been eagerly awaiting the first loosenings. Now, finally, the first sporting steps towards normality have been taken, because since 08 March 2021, with an incidence number of less than 50, up to 10 sports lovers are allowed to meet again for outdoor sports. So far, the Rheinhessen Sports Federation has relied on a variety of sporting and theoretical online offers to stay connected with its members, which will hopefully soon be possible again in presence.
Inscribe digital solution a hit for contact tracking
The sports federation is already well prepared for the current relaxations: with the digital visitor list Inscribe. With the help of the digital solution for participant registration, the members of the associations are doubly protected: Protection of personal data and protection against the uncontrolled spread of the pandemic. Inscribe is a digital alternative to pen & paper when collecting data from participants and visitors and can be used as a digital guest list in all industries.
The Sportbund Rheinhessen provides the solution to its member clubs free of charge and in its own association colours, in addition to the other protective measures, such as distance rules, mandatory masks and other hygiene rules. Using Inscribe is very straightforward: scan the QR code and check in. When leaving the venue, people are reminded to check out. The resulting digital time stamp makes it possible to trace infection chains and precisely identify possible contact persons.
"The current times hold many challenges for us! However, we are looking forward to hopefully getting back to a bit of normality very soon. With Inscribe, we can be confident that contact tracing will work smoothly if the worst happens, so we can protect our members."
says Lena Hornberger, Head of Communication & Club Development.

Inscribe at the Sportbund Rheinhessen
It is particularly important for the Sportbund Rheinhessen that the personal data of its members is stored securely and in accordance with data protection regulations. Inscribe convinces here with the DSGVO-compliant and encrypted storage of collected data of the attendees. The digital recording of personal data makes paper lists & manual entry with a pen a thing of the past. This is quicker, more environmentally friendly and also safer than the traditional method with lists on display.
Neither prying eyes of third parties nor outsiders have access to the digitally stored data. Not even COCUS AG, as the operator of Inscribe, has access to the encrypted personal data. This is because only with the help of the individual access key, which is assigned to the selected data protection officer of the Rheinhessen Sports Federation during the registration process, can the data be decrypted and forwarded to the health department if necessary.
After the prescribed period of four weeks, the stored data is automatically deleted from the servers. This reduces the administrative burden of collecting and destroying personal data to a minimum.
Wir freuen uns, dass es beim Sportbund Rheinhessen in kleinen Schritten wieder weiter geht! We are pleased that things are moving forward again in small steps at the Sportbund Rheinhessen!
