Enabling e-assessments with the portable COCUS 5G mobile private network at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Science
The university is testing the implementation of e-assessments with its own 5G campus network as part of the ODEA.5G project (Own Device E-Assessment on 5G). Among other things, the project aims to develop and evaluate a technical infrastructure for conducting (course-related) digital examinations. For this purpose the own 5G network enables the secure and reliable real-time transmission from many end devices. The project is funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalization and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
