Using 5G radio network planning data as basis for a 3D digital twin of an entire harbour area in northern Germany
The recording of the entire port area by drones as part of radio network planning for a private 5G network served as basis for a digital representation of the harbor in 3D. The environment is prepared for the integration of additional IoT sensors over the entire site and thus for simulation or prediction of different scenarios and augmented reality applications. The digital twin will be used to optimize operations by visually “experiencing” the entire site, bottlenecks, availabilities, stock and much more.
