The temperatures are rising and the sun can finally be seen more often again! This makes training sessions and the long-awaited match days for the golf ladies from GC Hummelbachaue, whom we have been supporting with great pleasure since 2019, even more fun! After a long break from Corona competition, the motivated female golfers can finally take to the green again to compete! The first and 2nd matchday of the 2. Bundesliga thus took place under strict hygiene regulations and enabled a successful start for the Hummelbacher ladies, even if currently still unfortunately must be done without spectators. The golf teams from Bremen, Hanover, Wuppertal and Hösel competed together on the Hummelbachaue course in Neuss.
With home advantage and a lot of verve, the eight ladies with COCUS as the main sponsor on their sleeves were able to convince with their performances and prove to the competition what they are made of. After a long day, they were the clear winners by 10 strokes!
This was a very good result, as they had started as a promoted team. The next match days are scheduled for June. We wish the sporty ladies a lot of fun at the trainings and the preparation for the next competition days!
